A family portrait should capture the relationship within your family. We offer several formal, semi- formal, and informal backgrounds indoors. Following are several portraits showing the varied styles that can be created for a family portrait.

Clothing Suggestions:
Remember that the real focal point of any portrait are the faces. Avoid clothing with large prints or patterns. Let your wardrobe enhance your portrait-not overpower it. Coordinate style and color of clothing so you compliment one another. Outdoor photography? Consider casual outfits in earth tones or jeans. Formal portraiture? Middle tones or deeper solid colors work best. Long-sleeved shirts or sweaters look better than short sleeves. If your preference is a light colored background, white or pastel clothing is preferred, however a bold statement can be made by wearing bright colors. Wear your hair in a style you're comfortable with. Do not get a fresh hair cut just before the session or experiment with a new look in hair. Men, a fresh shave is a must. Beard or mustaches should be neatly trimmed. Ladies, makeup should be natural and fresh. Keep jewelry and other accessories simple. If your wear glasses, wear them in your portrait however, if you can borrow a pair of lensless frames to avoid glass glare.
